I just received and email from the Make It Seven team. Asking people to send a messaget to Gary “Mr Suck” Bettman. Here was the body of the message:

In his ruling on June 15, Judge Baum clearly encouraged the NHL and Jim Balsillie enter into mediation to settle the matter of relocating the Phoenix Coyotes to Hamilton.
Jim Balsillie is more than willing to discuss relocation with the NHL and we need you, the fans, to help bring the league to the table. We have written an email that you can quickly and easily send to us and then spread the word among your friends so that we can deliver the message to the NHL.

On the MakeItSeven site, the email is sent to a makeitseven.ca email address… they are then, supposedly, going to print off the emails and mail them to Bettman’s office.
Canadians pay for all junior hockey programs, sell out our arenas every night, increasing revenues for All teams, yet because of our high taxes, our own players sign with American teams.
It will never happen! The NHL thinks Jim Balsillie is a crook. He has unanimously been rejected as an owner do to his “untrustworthiness”. You all are supporting a guy like that? Good luck. You SHOULD be thankful you still have 6!
This a-hole should be fired as commish. If he will do right by the league there will be a team in Hamilton or somewhere else nearby. Better still, ban him from coming into Canada. This is our game and we should have a Canadian looking after the wll being of the league.
Make it 7? Why not make it twelve? (I’m being serious). Add some teams to the following markets:
-Hamilton
-Quebec
-Winnipeg
-Halifax
-Victoria
Well, maybe the last 2 are a bit iffy, but if Alberta can sustain 2 hockey teams, then certainly BC should have 2 teams as well.
I’ve nothing against having US based teams, as long as the fanbase is there (Boston, for example). When Tampa Bay won the cup in ‘04, the losing team (Calgary) had a much bigger reception from supporters as the team arrived at the airport.
Ratings for Stanley Cup finals were very high when Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa had their runs up to the finals.
NHL teams should be placed where the hockey fans are, that’s a fairly good way to determine if a franchise has long term sustainability.
Ballsack IS a crook. He tried to steal the Penguins, they found out his true intentions in time. He tried to steal the Predators, once again he was found out in time. The dude is a tard. He started selling season tickets before anything was signed. He tried to steal the Yotes, thank god the yotes are finally having a good year.
