As a bad Canadian hockey fan, I haven’t followed close enough to know why all teh team have been leaving the country. Now, after seeing what this bozo has been doing, what his background is (labour relations lawyer) and where he is from, it isn’t surprising that the arseclown doesn’t have a clue about what hockey is, and why hockey in Hamilton would be a good thing for a team that is melting in the desert. The leafs have him shoved so far down their pocket for their greedy “i want the entire Ontario market to myself for merchandising even though i never intend to spend money to win a stanley cup in the next 100 years because that would hurt my profitability”, that he doesn’t even fathom that a second team in the area would garner more fan support for a rivalry, get more fans to all Toronto games (including the away games that they probably get 12 people to in the states) and actually garner more revenues for the league through merchandising for two teams instead of one. but hey, he’s american, born in new york. what do you want from the poor guy, a brain – forget it.

Why the hell is Gary Betteman still the commissioner of the NHL in the first place? How many years is this clown allowed to be the commissioner? Dont you think it is time for change? They fire coaches,general managers,agents,scouts and even players etc. etc., so why not this anti-canadian goof?!!This goof needs to have his ass kicked out the door pronto! The booing at th stanley cup presentation said it all. This game wasnt even in Canada and he got booed. Why does he continue to try and shove hockey down the americans throats when they just keeo throwing it right back up? Hockey is something like the 11th most poular sport in America or something like that.Tennis and lacrosse are more popular than hockey, among others.Buttman is a friggin joke.Canadaians do more for the sport of hockey than any other country, and yet he continues to shit on us.I have an idea.Lets move Pheonix to Hamilton, Nashville to Quebec, and Carolina to Winnipeg. Lets lobby for 3 teams and maybe we will get one. I highly doubt it tho. We will get nuthing as long as Mr Suck is still around.Someone start a petition to fire this goof now!!!!

Someone should get a website up specifically for Gary Bettman, a poll to get Bettman out of hockey. And get it out there on the net in all the high traffic areas like Facebook and some of the others. To see what kind of numbers can be accumulated, maybe enough to contribute to his exit out of the NHL. And get someone in there with hockey sense, like yeah a Gretzky or someone of that stature.

I watched Donald Brashear basically hard check/push/punch a Ranger player in the face in this years 2009 playoffs, he got suspended 6 games.
I watched a player for the Hurricanes named Scott Walker sucker punch a Boston player in these same 2009 playoffs.
You would think Mr. Bettman would have done what every other league does when something like this happens, No Mr. Dunce fined this Big nosed moron $2,500 and no games suspended..
Donald Brashear’s hit slash push check what ever you call it looked So harmless compared to what Walker did.
Now you all know whats coming the Boston-Hurricanes series ended last night with this Clown Walker putting the puck in the net in a game 7 overtime.
This non suspension I think caused greater harm in this series than meets the eye.
From the players point of view on the Bruins this must have caused some very unneeded anger.
Now the series is over and the Player that basically should have not even been near a rink was on it and put the goal in the net!!
Mr. Bettman you run your league like a 4th rate townie circus in town for the weekend. I hope you and the Hurricanes owner have a good laugh!!
Because you basically trashed what was a great series and the outcome could not have been worse for a league already suffering. If any other player would a scored that goal on the Hurricanes it would have been acceptable!! But this is definitely leaves a Huge Black Eye on the sport of Hockey!!

I can’t beleive this guy is still the commisioner of the NHL!! It’s time for a change!! He tried to get us to follow the puck better with the stupid red light, he took the team logos off the pucks to put HIS signiature on it, he switched the home and away sweaters and he wont let another team in canada as long as he is commisioner. I don’t know about you but the good guys (home team) should always be in white!!! This guy, in my opinion, is to american minded and STUPID to be running the NHL. Who the hell does he think he is?? He keeps putting teams in cities where they tried and failed in the past. Does this make any sence?? Time to go Gary, and let someone like oh I don’t know Wayne Gretzky to run it.
